AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM

Museum devoted to the contributions of African Americans

Museum dedicated to the role of the American Marine Merchant.

BROOKHAVEN LAB SCIENCE MUSEUM


Full of hands-on exhibits that make science exciting, this museum
welcomes reservations from groups for weekday tours year-round, and is
open to the general public every Sunday in July and August after July
4th weekend. Always free, always fun.

COLD SPRING HARBOR WHALING MUSEUM

This museum is the second in New York to be accredited by the
American Association of Museums. Features include New York's only
19th century whaleboat, fully equipped with it's gear.

Authorized by President George Washington in 1792
this is the oldest light house in New York.

WRONG ISLAND RAILROAD

A true hands-on experience awaits you here.
Model trains dating back to the 1920's are on display
and controlled by the patrons.
