Traveling by car from points west and New York City, take the Long Island
Expressway (Rt. 495) east. To visit the North Fork wineries go to the last
exit, #73. Here the expressway links with County Road 58, which becomes Rt.
25 (Main Road). North and parallel to Rt. 25 is Rt. 48 (North Road). Green
"Wine Trail" road signs will guide you to the wineries.
 To visit the South Fork (The Hamptons) take the Long Island Expressway east to exit #70, then drive south along County Road 111, which connects with Rt. 27 East. Proceed east into the Towns of Water Mill and Bridgehampton, following the winery signs.
Traveling from one Fork to the other, you may enjoy taking the ferry boats,
which conveniently link Greenport, Shelter Island, and Sag Harbor. Use Rt.
114 coming from either direction.
